All we know about Tesla's Supercharger Network thus far is it'll offer charging and battery swaps for the company's electric cars - presumably "at highway rest stops" - but tonight promises far more information. Designed for music lovers, the Samsung Galaxy Music also provides an FM radio with FM transmitter, a 3-megapixel camera, an 850 MHz processor, a 512MB of RAM, a 4GB of internal memory and a microSD card slot for storage expansion. Used to be, to get a full-frame sensor in a Canon camera, you had to shell out big bucks for a pro rig like the 5D Mark III or 1D X. No longer. Canon's just unveiled its EOS 6D, the smallest, lightest and cheapest full-frame DSLR it's ever made. Weighing 690g, the 6D is 20 percent lighter than the 5D Mark III, and at $2,099, it's a full $1,400 less than its heftier stablemate - which also puts it directly in line with Nikon's recently released full-frame shooter, the D600. In addition to that mammoth sensor, the 6D's the first EOS camera to have built-in WiFi.

FCC potentially frees up more spectrum by approving new auction process

. While it likely won't quench the wireless carriers' thirst for more spectrum anytime soon, the Federal Communications Commission on Friday took an important step toward opening up more airwaves for mobile data use by voting 5-0 to approve a new spectrum auction process that will reward television broadcasters for voluntarily relinquishing unused spectrum. The New York Times reports that “a portion of the proceeds” from the auctions will go to broadcasters that relinquish their spectrum licenses and notes that the government estimates the incentive auctions “could generate $15 billion” in total revenues.

Google's new Field Trip app puts an Android-powered tour guide in every pocket [video]

. Say hello to Google's (GOOG) latest exploration app, Field Trip. Field Trip works by running in the background on Android smartphones (iOS version is coming soon), and just like a local tour guide, it can provide detailed information about a specific location without user intervention. The app will pop up useful nuggets on things like landmarks, restaurants and shopping deals when users are at certain locations. Google says Field Trip even knows when a person is driving and will read out bits of trivia on interesting places when they pass them.

But, trivia is only as good as its sources.
