Is Honda working on airbags for smartphones?

Is Honda working on airbags for smartphones?

Smartphones are expensive yet delicate - a single impact on a hard surface can shatter their touchscreens, often damaging them beyond repair. Fitting a case offers only so much protection, but what about an airbag. Honda has explored the concept with the airbag-equipped Case N and even made a video about it. But alas, it isn't real.
For some reason, we really want it to be.

Samsung Galaxy S5 benchmark reveals 2K screen

Samsung Galaxy S5 benchmark reveals 2K screen

While the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is busy tending to its flagship duties for Samsung, the heir to the Galaxy S4 is making headlines steadily building up the hype. The latest rumors concern its body and some of its specs. According to EMSOne, a Japanese-based website, ODM Catcher Technology (Taiwan), BYD (China) and Ju Teng (Taiwan) has been assigned to make between 10 and 30 million unibody metal shells for the next high-grade Galaxy device.

Samsung Patent Might Hint At Galaxy S5's Design

Samsung Patent Might Hint At Galaxy S5's Design

While we have been hearing a lot of Samsung Galaxy S5 rumors these days, if there's one thing we still don't about the phone is how it might look like. The rumors have suggested a metal body and a recently leaked photo showed off its alleged metal frame, and thanks to a recent patent by Samsung, perhaps the patent in question might clue us in to how the Galaxy S5 would look like. The photo above is the sketch of the design that Samsung had recently patented, although there's no telling if this design might be used for the Galaxy S5 or another device, but some have speculated that it could be Galaxy S5-related.

Samsung Galaxy S5 could use metal after all

Samsung Galaxy S5 could use metal after all

Trying to figure out when Samsung would be ballsy enough to make the switch to a metal chassis for their phones hasn't been the easiest of tasks. The company has been rumored to do it for the past two renditions of the Samsung Galaxy S4, and we've been disappointed each time. We saw them give it a go inside the Samsung Galaxy S4 Active, but that particular device wasn't sold as widely as the original Galaxy S4. According to new reports, Samsung could finally be ready to make the jump to metal. No, seriously this time… I think.

Meizu MX4G rumored to have ridiculous 5.5-inch 2560 x 1536 display

Meizu MX4G rumored to have ridiculous 5.5-inch 2560 x 1536 display

Display technology is growing at very rapid rates, and 2014 should bring us many interesting breakthroughs. Meizu looks to be the next player to make some noise in that space, with their “Meizu MX4G” rumored to be coming with a 5-5inch 2560 x 1536 display. That gives us a pixel density of about 542ppi. Some might argue that the human eye wouldn't even be able to make having such technology worth it, with many folks believing anything far beyond 300ppi is overkill.

DRACOdesign VENTARE A iPhone 5 bumper case review

DRACOdesign VENTARE A iPhone 5 bumper case review

I have been riding motorcycles for nearly three decades and during that time I have owned several Ducatis that were fast, fun, and very nice/zippy looking. And while this iPhone 5x5S case is not really fast or as fun as a 998, it is very nice looking without a doubt. The folks at DRACOdesigns have partnered with Ducati to create the VENTARE A, a sleek aluminum and polycarbonate iPhone 5x5S bumper case. Their goal was to not only design a case that will protect your smartphone but add a bit of Italian flare to your iPhone along the way.
