The Saddest Robots in Japan Live Among the Sins of Sony

The Saddest Robots in Japan Live Among the Sins of Sony

Google Me This: What Ever Happened to Sony's Robots. Okay, check it out: so there's this massive, global technology company, and about 14 years ago they decide to make a few robots. Turns out they create some really smart, cutting-edge, super-tech devices: a doggy robot, and a toddler-sized android. But then they give up after only 7 years – in fact, last month marked the end of the giant corporation's obligation to provide support, service, and parts for one of the most iconic robots ever created.

iPhone 5S Front-Facing Camera Module Leaks [Rumor]

Just last month, we caught a glimpse of some internal components that were allegedly for the iPhone 5S. The components were for the iPhone 5S' home button, which we know you've been dying to learn more about. Unfortunately, we don't have any more leaked images of the iPhone 5S' home button, but we do have images of what might be the iPhone 5S' front-facing camera module.

Dish Claims Their Buyout Of Sprint Would Be Better For National Security

Dish Claims Their Buyout Of Sprint Would Be Better For National Security

The other we reported that Dish had made a counter-offer to Sprint and offered to acquire the company for more than what Japanese carrier, Softbank, was offering. Softbank seems to be unfazed by the counter-offer and expects the deal to conclude in a timely manner as expected, and if offering Sprint more money wasn't enough, Dish is now stating that they believe that for them to buy Sprint would be in the interest of national security.

INOVA Microlight STS keychain flashlight review

INOVA Microlight STS keychain flashlight review

A few days ago I posted a news item about the INOVA Microlight STS keychain flashlight. We've all seen similar looking flashlights small enough to easily fit on a keychain, but the INOVA Microlight STS Swipe to Shine from Nite Ize has something I've never seen before with any flashlight… touch/gesture controls. That's right, there are no buttons or switches. This light is controlled solely by touch.
Note: Images can be clicked to view a larger size.

This flashlight is available in 4 colors including the blue version you see here.

iOS Ahead Of The Pack In Mobile Ad Revenue

Android may be powering 70% of the entire smartphone market, iOS still has the lead in U.S. That's not all, when it comes to mobile ad revenue no other platform is matching Apple's lead. Opera Mediaworks released its State of Mobile Advertising report for the first quarter of 2013. The report is based on data collected by Opera Mediaworks from its advertising subsidiaries which account for more than 50 billion ad impressions each month, that reach over 300 million users around the world. Their data indicates that iOS ads generate the most amount of traffic as opposed to any other platform.

Facebook Windows Phone 8 App Runs Into Issues

Facebook Windows Phone 8 App Runs Into Issues

Considering how Microsoft are the ones behind the official Facebook for the Windows Phone platform, this would mean official Facebook software developers are unable to keep track of it too well. Well, earlier this morning, the folks over at Facebook could very well have made modifications to unknown bits within the APIs which are used in the Windows Phone 8 Facebook app. Just how did we arrive at this particular conclusion.
