Apple loses lawsuit over iPad design

. Apple has lost a lawsuit to Spanish firm Nuevas Tecnologías y Energías Catalá, which fought back after the Cupertino-based company tried to block the company's “nt-k” Android tablet from reaching market in Spain. Apple originally accused the Spanish firm of creating a “copy” of its iPad in 2010. According to FOSS Patents, Nuevas Tecnologías y Energías Catalá is now seeking damages related to the seizure of its tablets by Spanish customs, and it will file an antitrust suit against Apple as well. As FOSSPatents points out, the lawsuit is related to a “design-related right” and not a patent.
