GTA: San Andreas For iOS Released

GTA: San Andreas For iOS Released

We reported last month that Rockstar is going to release Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas for mobile devices in December. At that point in time, Rockstar did not provide a concrete release date. If you have been waiting to go back to the early 90s where CJ and the Grove Street Families owned the town, you don't have to wait any longer. GTA: San Andreas for iOS has been released.
Unfortunately, the app is being rolled out in stages, which means that it isn't live in all countries at this point in time. Folks in New Zealand can already get their hands on it through the app store, it is expected that the title will make its way to the U.S.

GM's Barra could get big payday now that gov't no longer regulates salaries

GM's Barra could get big payday now that gov't no longer regulates salaries

One would expect that as the CEO of one of the largest automakers in the world, the pay would be pretty darn competitive. And for the just-announced incoming CEO of General Motors, Mary Barra, the financial compensation package could well be substantially rosier than it was for her predecessor. That's because she'll be the first exec at the company's helm since the federal government sold off its remaining interest in the company earlier this week.

Nokia Normandy is reportedly a low-cost Android phone

Nokia Normandy is reportedly a low-cost Android phone

According to a report in The Verge, the previously leaked, mysterious Nokia Normandy is an Android handset. Known internally under several different codenames, the device is said to be developed as an equivalent to the low-cost Nokia Asha range. The Nokia Normandy allegedly runs heavily modified Android version – much like in the case of the Amazon Kindle Fire range. The OS will allow the handset to run popular Android apps, thus addressing a major shortcoming of the current Nokia Asha lineup.

The Nokia Normandy development is described as going at Â"full steam aheadÂ". The handset is reportedly planned for a release in 2014.

LG Has Sold 2.3 Million LG G2 Units So Far

LG Has Sold 2.3 Million LG G2 Units So Far

The LG G2 was launched a few months ago and features some pretty impressive hardware, especially its camera which seemed to take some pretty decent shots even in low-light conditions. Given its specs and mostly-favorable reviews, we would have expected the handset to be a huge success for LG, but as it turns out that might not be the case, at least so far. According to recent reports, the LG has only managed to sell 2.3 million LG G2 units to date, which is about 4 months since its release. This definitely falls short of LG's initial projections where they estimated that they would be able to hit 3 million units sold in Q3 alone.

Breaking down F1's 2014 regulations into layman's terms

Breaking down F1's 2014 regulations into layman's terms

Some racing series are easier to understand than others, but to put it mildly, Formula One is not NASCAR. With 500 members of each team spending millions upon millions each year to gain an advantage, F1 is about as technically complex as rocket science. But if you thought you had managed to wrap your head around the way things work, think again, because the series is undergoing a major overhaul of its technical regulations for the 2014 season. Of course, the biggest change is a switch from naturally aspirated 2.4-liter V8 engines to turbocharged 1.6-liter V6 powerplants, but that's not the sum total of the shift.
