Bloomberg cites unnamed sources in reporting on the potential layoffs, which would amount to 8% of HP's global workforce. Between 10,000 and 15,000 of the cuts could come from HP's enterprise services group, and several thousand of the workers affected by the possible layoffs may be offered early-retirement packages.
