Another Windows 8-powered device Asus unveiled yesterday is the Taichi laptop that may go down in history as one of the most memorable for its unusual selling point: displays on both sides of the lid. No need to slide the lid like any other convertible PC; just close the laptop and it becomes a tablet. The Asus Taichi has some pretty high-end specs. The 11.6-inch Taichi 21, for instance, starts at $1,299 and comes with dual 1080p IPS displays, default Core i5-3317U processor, 4GB of RAM, and 128GB SSD. Add $200 and you get 256GB of storage.
