We already know that the 2013 Jaguar F-Type will be ditching the rotary shifter used in current Jaguar models, but Autocar is reporting that the F-Type will also be setting another trend in the British automaker's lineup by introducing a new manual transmission. In addition to the F-Type, this gearbox could also make its way into the XF. Autocar spoke with Adrian Hallmark, Jaguar global brand director, who stated that a true sports car needs a manual gearbox, and it sounds like a three-pedal transmission with "a minimum of six speeds" will make it into the Jaguar lineup soon.
