Ubisoft Plans To Release Open-World Titles On A Regular Basis

Thanks to technology and the way games are headed, it is common to see more developers start creating open-world games on a more regular basis. Titles such as Grand Theft Auto 5, Assassin's Creed, and Skyrim come to mind, and it looks like Ubisoft has decided that open-world titles are indeed the way to go and have revealed their plans to start releasing more open-world type games on a regular basis. According to Ubisoft's CEO, Yves Guillemot, he believes that open-world is the new direction in which games evolve, and that in the past seven year, Ubisoft has helped released nine such titles, two of them in 2013 alone.
