Most games can run fine on a quad-core processor computer. In fact a lot of them already do great on dual-core processor - but that hasn't stopped processor manufacturers from pushing the bar when it comes to speed and power. AMD recently released its new eight-core Bulldozer FX CPUs, and CyberpowerPC has been one of the companies to quickly take advantage of the processors for its gaming PC lineup. Called the Gamer Scorpius series, these computers make use of the latest AMD processors which include the AMD FX-8150 3.60 GHz 8-Core CPU; AMD FX-8120 3.10 GHz 8-Core CPU; AMD FX-6100 3.30 GHz 6-Core CPU; and AMD FX-4100 3.6 GHz Quad-Core CPU.
