Tablets have their price tags majorly slashed to keep up with the competition. The HTC Flyer is the latest tablet to undergo a price reduction as Best Buy will offer the 7-inch Android 2.3 tablet from $499 to $299. The price slash on the Flyer comes after the BlackBerry PlayBook, Motorola Xoom, and the HP TouchPad had their respective price cuts.
