We've already mentioned the bizarre news about how much Microsoft earns in licensing fees every time HTC sells an Android phone – now the software giant is set to strike again. According to Reuters today, Microsoft is pursuing Samsung for licensing fees of around $15 for every Android device it sells, as a result of technology patents used in its Android smartphones. And, as we well know, Samsung sells a LOT of Android phones….
Reuters goes on to quote sources who say Samsung could get that down to $10 per phone in exchange for producing more Windows Phone 7 devices.
