Sony's NW-Z1000 Android PMP Passes the FCC

Sony's NW-Z1000 Android PMP Passes the FCC

It appears the Sony NW-Z1000 – their Android personal media player – will make its way out of their home country of Japan as it has found its way to the FCC. The device weights in at 4.3 inches and has a dual-core Tegra 2 processor, 512MB of RAM, Bluetooth, WiFi and Android 2.3. It could easily pass as a phone at first glance but without phone radios it's just a nice-sized PMP. Where exactly it's headed we can't say, but we're hoping at least Canada and the US will both get some love.
