5.6 mm thin Umeox X5 will get official in September at IFA, coming to Europe bearing the Thomson brand

The Umeox X5 is almost official. Furthermore, it's even going to be sold in Europe. In case you're wondering just what the Umeox X5 is, well… basically it's the next ‘world's thinnest smartphone' record holder. It's a Chinese Android smartphone that's going to be just 5.6 mm thin. That's insane. No smartphone ever went below 6 mm thus far.

We've been hearing bits and pieces about the Umeox X5 ever since May. And now it looks like we're closer to its official unveiling than ever.
