Apple's iPad has long dominated the tablet scene, but with Android tablets like the Nexus 7 and Amazon Kindle Fire HDX that are not only priced a lot less than Apple's offerings, but come with decent specs, we guess it was only a matter of time before customers decided that they'd rather spend less and according to the latest figures, it shows. According to Morgan Stanley analyst, Katy Huberty, her research note indicates that for the first time ever, Android tablets managed to nab 46.2% of tablet revenue for Q3 2013, beating out Apple's revenue share of 45.6%.
