The most interesting thing, however, is the inclusion of Android App Player in the BlackBerry Playbook OS update. The Android App Player, as the name suggests, will allow users to run Android apps on BlackBerry Playbook, which is essentially a QNX-based device. This will enable users to download from hundreds of thousands of apps and games available on the Android market, which would seem far richer an experience since the Playbook apps on BlackBerry App World are relatively too low, in count.
