That point has again been proven, as weather-related flooding at a automotive carpet supplier has lead to decreased production at six North American plants. Automotive News reports that Swiss supplier Autoneum Holding AG is dealing with a flooded facility in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania, and select General Motors and Chrysler plants are feeling the pinch. Chrysler and GM each decreased the line rates at three key plants.
