Price is a very sensitive issue, and this has caused Amazon.com to actually withdraw not hundreds, but thousands of e-books from their virtual store shelves after getting into a pricing row with publishers. According to the Independent Publishers Group, the second largest independent book distributor in the US, “Amazon has decided not to offer our Kindle editions at this time.
