In the current smartphone battles, especially in the Android world, in the spec list comparison competitions, it's often the processors that manage to attract all the attention with their cores and such. But RAM is an equally important component of a modern smartphone, one that you only truly appreciate once you try using an Android device from yesteryear sporting just 256 MB of it. Sure, today 1 GB seems more than enough for a smartphone (perhaps not for a tablet though), but what about tomorrow.
