There has been quite a lot of fuss recently regarding Diablo 3's account security and what not, and with the launch of the Real Money Auction House coming soon, the last thing we're sure Blizzard wants is to hear and read that accounts have been hacked and real money has been stolen (as opposed to in-game gold). This might explain why Blizzard has revealed in a forum post that with the introduction of the Real Money Auction House, Blizzard will now be requiring authenticators attached to the accounts of those who are planning to participate.
Ubergizmo, Diablo 3 Real Money Auction House will require a Battle.net authenticator
