Birmingham City’s Urban Traffic Control to improve traffic issues with fully managed MPLS network from Easynet Global ServicesLONDON, 13 June 2012 – Easynet Global Services has today announced a new seven-year deal with public services provider Amey, which will see it provide a fully-managed MPLS network for Birmingham’s Urban Traffic Control (UTC) system. The contract will help Amey, who work in partnership with Birmingham City Council to maintain and manage the city’s roads, to connect road-side traffic signals to the central traffic signal operational control room.
