Earlier this year, despite their initial refutes, Valve appeared to be on track to making gaming hardware of their own. It looks like they're well on their way as thanks to a new job listing, it looks like the developer is currently seeking an Industrial Designer which basically states how they are frustrated with the lack of innovation, hence the need to step in and do something about it.
