MSI has officially announced the CX480 14-inch notebook, which is based on the second generation Intel Core family processor. Designed for students, home users and business professionals, the laptop features a choice of a 2.30GHz Intel Core i5-2410M or a 2.10GHz Intel Core i3-2310M processor, up to 8GB DDR3 memory, a 640GB hard disk drive, a 14-inch HD (1366 x 768) LED backlight display and a DVD burner. The MSI CX480 also has a 1GB nVidia GeForce GT 520M discrete graphics, the Time Stamp recovery software, a hard drive shock protection, SRS PC Sound, and a battery that provides up to 8.5-hour of operation time.
