Topcon showed a road condition evaluation system that uses video shot by a 360° camera at the 3D & Virtual Reality Exhibition. “The IP-S2 Lite system consists of a combination of a 360° camera, an inclinometer and a GPS, but the type shown here also has a laser scanner attached to it. The IP-S2 Lite creates a video using the 360° camera, taking 16 shots per second and extracting the characteristics of each, one by one.
