Sony Ericsson has just announced a new Android phone at CommunicAsia – the Xperia Ray. The Ray is the same phone as the previously-leaked “Urushi”, coming with a 3.3″ screen running at a 854×480 resolution. With the same BRAVIA Engine display technology as the amazing Xperia Arc inside it, that ought to look brilliant at this resolution. Inside the Xperia Ray is a single-core 1GHz processor, with an 8megapixel Exmor R sensor around the back.
