. Last month, a jury in California found Samsung guilty of infringing Apple's patented technology. The South Korean manufacturer was ordered to pay Apple (AAPL) $1.05 billion in damages, however Samsung (005930) has said it will appeal the ruling. The ongoing patent dispute between the two companies has been criticized by Google and other predominant figures in the industry, including none other than Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak.
"I hate it. I don't think the decision of California will hold. And I don't agree with it — very small things I don't really call that innovative,” he said in an interview with Bloomberg.
